Rain Shadow Forest is an open, long-term field experiment documenting the restoration of a high-desert ecosystem. We combine scientific research, practical engineering, and hands-on experimentation to explore how forests can be established in one of the most challenging climates in North America. Every success, failure, and observation is shared so others can learn alongside us.
